Hi.
I am a composer looking to start working in/on Film Scores. Although I have years of experience as a musician / composer, I have no experience in film scoring itself, and am looking for some projects to work on to build up a portfolio of experience.
I am keen to be contacted by anyone who may be in need of a score written for their film. I am happy to negoitiate a minimal fee, but - depending on the project and the requirements - will more than likely work for free. I just want the expereince really!
A little bit about me:
My main background is in theatre. I have 10 years as a musician / composer / orchestrator / arranger / musical director for musical theatre. I am most interested in working on orchestral film scores, and have little experience in hip-hop / dance beats - so I'm probably not the man for those styles of soundtracks. I am most inspired / influenced by the works of John Williams, James Horner, Danny Elfman, etc.
I am happy to be contacted on [email protected]. It's probably safest to get me there, rather than on this message board, as I'm not sure how often I'll check in.
Thanks
Kiwicomposer.
